The original owners, Noriko and Neville Gliddon, set out to create an affordable menu of quality Japanese dishes at a time when Japanese take away stores were few and far between. Noriko, originally from Shikoku and Osaka in Japan, created a menu that she could be proud of, with an emphasis on the use of only top quality ingredients and precise, authentic Japanese cooking techniques.
